Power Tool Fiend

I managed to do non-eventful diy with powertools on Saturday! I installed an extractor fan in the bathroom using a drill that is so big it won't go through a door sideways, I swear the motor is from a JCB and it has horrendous turbo-lag. When I'd finished I was like stood there looking around waiting for something to fall down or expecting to suddenly realise I'd put it in the wrong way round or something . . . but nothing, nada. There was just an eerie silence. The only remotely bad thing that happened was I mistook my thumb for the bolster chisel at one point, but I simply taught the kids next door a new word and that was it. Looks like I may have got the hang of this diy lark after all! I might consider having another pop at that plastering now . . .
