The Doktah Returns

I'm back! Did you miss me? I was in London, visiting old friends, getting friendlier with new ones and generally enjoying a change of pace from Paris...

not that I don't enjoy it here, I really do, it's just nice to go back to Blightey once in a while, especially if I've been away for more than a month - you feel almost like a tourist and actually appreciate everything again. I've also been called on in my capacity as the Kunning Konsultantt to actually do some work! So, no time for DrF.

Anyway, I've cleaned out my "Dung" mail folder and put a couple of old favourites here. I know, I know, you've seen them plenty of times before... but some of them are original works (OK, one of them is) but all of them made me laff when I was forwarded them and you should feel honoured if I've chosen to post one of your forwards here!

There are also some additions to SDD DIY and two new categories: Doktah's Dikshinry and Soapbox. All can be found in the conveniently-located list of links to the right of this page (or at the bottom, depending on what version of Internet Explorer you're using, apparently).

Oh yes, ta for the comments, Sjangrila. It's nice to know that somebody's reading all this drivel, even if they have Bad Things to say about my Afrikaans. It's not my fault it's going to Pot. I'm trying to learn French and the only time I ever praat the Taal is with Flemish colleagues - en hulle skater van die lag as ek enigiets vir hulle se.
