Technorati rocks!

It's, basically, a blog search engine, but it tells you how many sites link to each blog, so that you have an idea of how cool other people think it is... which is a function of how much effort is put into the blog, I suppose, so you have some idea of how worthy each blog you find could be of your attention.

If you have a blog or website and want more people to know about it, you could do worse than to go to http://www.technorati.com/ and "claim your blog" (let technorati know that it exists) and see how many people have linked to your blog already.
