Glasto

Mushi Steve's response to the question, "so, how was Glasto?"

Glasto rocked!! Did the whole thing on crutches.

White Stripes! how a 2 piece like that tucked up in the back corner of the pyramid stage like that fully dominates that space is amazing. These guys rock in a very genuine way. Meg's drums pounding driving beat and both Jack's guitar and vocals going all the way

Brian Wilson! this guy is a genius. Tash thought the sun was in my eyes but i was actually getting a bit teary, beautiful sunny day and heaven meets surf sounds from one of the originals. Defo a highlight

New Order! loved them but memory a bit scratchy here

Ian Brown! pleased to say that i finally passed out to Resurrection - the very last song on the Other Stage for the weekend. What happened to Fools Gold though!!!!

Elvis Costello! i remembered loving it but the only song i can recall now is Oliver's Army

Cold Play!! managed to dodge them completely :-)

rain: Woke up to rain dripping on my head at about 5 fri morning. then heavens opened lightening right overhead for at least the next 5 hours. Imagine u saw the rest on teh news. 700 tents washed away, people being rescued by dinghys and front end loaders, lightening hit one of the beer tents twice. nearly got stuck in mud a few times on my crutch

the other big highlight is some serious stomping around this coffin pumping out drum & bass with a bunch of party crazed hippies, witches, pall bearers and assorted freaks untill about 9am eeek. rough day.
