Crusaders Fan

3 questions for your mate who's wife had her baby in the ambulance:

was he watching rugby when his good wife went into labour?

If so, did he wait for half time to call the ambulance?

Did he call the ambulance with live broadcast of the super 12?

Answer:

He's actually a Crusaders fan although he only lived in Christchurch until
he was 6 months old.. go figure.. no I am not working with pre schoolers .

Anyway I have quizzed him further and it seems events unfolded like this.
He was perched in front of the big screen watching the pre match build up.
His wife started trying for is attention to which he nodded and mumbled "Yes
dear." Thinking the feigned attention would be a sufficient response.
By half time both he and she were screaming which he took to be her
enjoyment at the Crusaders first half performance.

Toward the end of the match he wondered whether his good wife might be so
kind as to get him a drink while he was watching the match. In response he
found himself being bottled in the head. I think this is called
"transition". At this time the ambulance was called... despatch was
delayed until the full time hooter... you know the rest.

You can see why I had to point out at the start that he was a Crusaders fan!
