God Bless America

Contrary to some of the ranting you might see on this horrible site, the Dr is, believe it or not, a Yankophile. He's driven accross the North American Continent three times (Miami to SanFran and back, SanFran to NY and treated like Royalty in every town and city visited) and has a whole bunch of American pals he's very fond of.

Maybe he doesn't completely agree with all the activities of the U.S. government, and does not hold his tongue when he perceives some sort of injustice being incurred by FatCats on The Rest of Us (not just US FatCats), but he's still very much enamoured of that enormous country and its (often) enormous people.

Here's a very useful guide to the U.S, called One Nation, Extra Cheese which made me chuckle and reminded me that there are still Americans out there who are big enough to take a long, hard laugh at themselves.
